About

Hi, I’m Sam Sinclair. I’m a follower of Jesus, a husband, a dad to two rambunctious boys, and a pastor with a deep love for the local church.

I was born in Wellington, New Zealand and raised in Prescott, Arizona. By God’s grace and the faithful influence of Christian parents, I trusted Christ as my Savior when I was five and sensed a call to preach by the age of twelve.

After completing undergraduate degrees in Pastoral Ministries (2013) and History (2014) at Pensacola Christian College, I went on to earn master’s degrees in Biblical Languages (2015) and a Master of Divinity (2017) from Pensacola Theological Seminary.

From 2017 to 2025, I served as the pastor of Cloverleaf Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama. I’m now a member of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Mobile, and I continue to serve the body of Christ through preaching, writing, and discipleship.

I enjoy playing the violin, drinking strong coffee, watching baseball, following politics, and digging into biblical Greek and church history.

More than anything, I want my life to reflect the aim of Philippians 3:10: “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.

This blog is a space where I reflect on theology, pastoral ministry, culture, and life in Christ—with the hope that it encourages, equips, and edifies fellow believers on their journey of faith.
