Devotional Thought: Psalm 147:3
What a thought, that the One who knows the name of every star cares about our broken hearts! Even in pain, we can never doubt His goodness, for He lovingly binds up our wounds. In the midst of confusion, we can never question His wisdom, for it is infinite. If He knows the name of every star in the most far-flung galaxy, He most certainly knows the deepest pain in the hearts of His blood-bought sons and daughters. Instead of doubting and questioning, let us rejoice in the unending goodness of the One who heals our hearts and rest in the infinite wisdom of the One who supervises the innumerable hosts of stars.
"Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely." Psalm 147:1
I could not agree with you more. That is one of my favorite Psalms. Many times we often forget how powerful and wonderful God really is It goes to show us how mighty our God really is that he can call each star name by name or us and he loves us all the same . Oh how blessed to call Him mine.

I was just laying on a blanket in my driveway the other day, looking up at a star-filled sky thinking the same thing, and praising my Lord.
